The PV annual yield follows from yield = kWp × specific yield × f(orientation) × f(tilt). The specific yield is site-dependent (Central Europe ~900–1000 kWh/kWp for a south-facing array).
The orientation and tilt factors are approximate; shading, temperature and inverter losses are lumped into the specific yield.
The economics (feed-in, self-consumption, payback) are deliberately not part of this technical tool.
