When buying televisions, monitors, tablets or smartphones, screen sizes are specified internationally in inches. Our converter helps with:

Common screen sizes:
- 24 inch = 61 cm (office monitor)
- 27 inch = 69 cm (gaming monitor)
- 32 inch = 81 cm (small TV)
- 55 inch = 140 cm (standard TV)
- 65 inch = 165 cm (large TV)
Rule of thumb for TV size: Seating distance in cm ÷ 2.5 = recommended screen diagonal in cm. At a distance of 3 meters, 120 cm (approx. 47 inches) is optimal. The distance can be smaller for 4K TVs, as the higher resolution makes individual pixels invisible.
