Fuel calculator: calculate fuel costs for your journey

Calculate the fuel costs of your trip - simply and accurately:

  • Consumption: L/100km of your vehicle
  • Distance: Kilometers driven
  • Fuel price: Current price per liter
  • Total costs: Gasoline costs for the trip
  • Carpool: Cost per person

Formula: Cost = (distance / 100) × consumption × price

Example: 300 km distance, 7 L/100km consumption, 1.80 €/L: Cost = (300/100) × 7 × 1.80 = 37.80 €

Average consumption:

  • Small car: 5-6 L/100km
  • Medium class: 6-8 L/100km
  • SUV: 8-12 L/100km
  • Sports car: 10-15 L/100km
  • Diesel: approx. 20% less than petrol
